Has he lost the dressing room then ?

What else could explain weeks of half arsed performances from world class players ?

If he has then we need new players.

His old CEO at Dortmund:

"We did not try to change his mind anymore. But that was maybe a mistake. Perhaps it would have been better if we had exchanged the entire team – not the coach.

"Because I knew that, we would never get back such a coach. When I said goodbye, real tears came.

We do. We bloody do.

We have to act ruthlessly in the next window.

Everyone who makes the slightest noise of wanting to leave should be shipped out immediately. Make way for new players who want to be here.

Maybe the players have started to doubt Klopp but it's more likely they've lost confidence in themselves and each other.
What Klopp and the players need to recapture is the aggresive attitude that's served us well in the last few years. This doesn't mean we need to foul more but impose ourselves on the opposition with and without the ball.
Too often lately they can't react to adversity and are meek and tentative instead of being ruthless and imposing.
Before we start to defend, pass and score more we need to improve our mentality or nothing's going to change.

Yep I could see that working. If he has lost the dressing room and it seems that’s the case, bin off half the team. Mane, Salah, Gini, Keita, Frim should make a few quid. We keep a good spine in Allison, Virgil, Hendo, Fabs, Robbo, Trent and Jota. Bring back Elliott and Kent. The rest can fuck off.
Edit... keep Millie, obviously!

Shared this a couple of times. The team needed renewal anyway. Klopp showed that he could build a team. He should be entrusted with that task again.

We have players who write their autobiographies aged 25 after winning one or two trophies. We have players who care more about being named captain in meaningless games. Players who try to be youtube stars by doing shite videos driving around town talking about dating Dua Lipa.

Talk about keeping the focus, eh?

Usually when teams are having a collective meltdown there are rumours of team building exercises or clear the air meetings. The Liverpool teams of the seventies and eighties used to have what they called dog days when basically the whole team got pissed. It brought them closer together and we know how succesful they were.
I doubt anything like that will happen with lockdown measures in place and drinking being frowned upon but they need to do something to be a team again. As the banner flown over Anfield reminded us, unity is strength and we haven't seen much unity of late.

Anyways I don't think he's lost the dressing room. They're all trying, they're just in the worst form since he took over. They all love him, that much is obv
Have to agree with this, all i can say is that they are just not getting it right in that final third. Despite todays result and me thinking they are total cunts for losing yet another game, they dominate all other teams without being able to score. But also I think its great today that Fab played in central mid role when he came on and Klopp let defenders do defending.

The players confidence is fucked mainly due to this seasons exceptional circumstances.

I’m a little bit concerned though that Mane and Firminos form might be a longer term thing and I’m not sure how much of an appetite the owners have for big signings at the moment.

A crisis of confidence? Confidence affects everything - energy, decision-making, execution - everything. Literally all of this can be explained by confidence being at rock bottom. Of course, Klopp could've been more experimental in changing our fortunes, but in his defence, the squad is threadbare and exhausted and Klopp is grieving the loss of his [EDIT] mother.

He's taken us from also-rans to the pinnacle of world football in just a few seasons. Anyone questioning his position at this stage should take a long hard look at themselves.

Football is like stocks & shares one minute you rocket to the top next you’ve dropped down and feel worthless and that’s where we are right now but we’ll get back. *said no one ever*

Whoever organised that plane what’s hunting down and given a good shoeing.

It’s his mother not his father. His father died years ago. So try to keep up.

Yes, you're right - my mistake. Obviously, that makes a world of difference, so thanks for pointing it out.

I think he needs a break, similar to when he walked away from Dortmund or when Kenny left the first time. It's all gotten too much, his decision making has gone to shit and it's eroding confidence in him. Look at that team we sent out today against a Fulham side scrapping for their lives, that was dogshit, a load of random changes resulting in a team that looked like it hadn't a fucking clue what it was meant to be doing.

It might have been a bit cringeworthy but there's been similar stunts over the years with a much more divisive messages on them. People paying for messages in the sky are the least of our problems.

I think the team selection made sense, clearly it was with one eye on midweek.

But what didn't make sense is sticking with the same approach that is heavily reliant on exceptional stuff from great players and expecting it to work with less than great players. Neco Williams playing so high up the pitch was pointless for example.

Klopp needs a break and to grieve his mother.

Gini and Mo clearly didn’t help with their antics in the transfer window and have had some destabilising effect.
We’ve starting with CBs who wouldn’t get into many Premier League teams
And our midfield is completely dysfunctional which cannot counterpress or create for shit.

We should have beaten Fulham but completely changing the team was never going to help.
Get your best players on the pitch and play your way out of this shit.

Yeah, I've mentioned this before, but everyone's like "no we're fine"

I almost want us out of the champions league, then we can just bin off rest of the season and finish mid table.

Bar one impressive game at Arsenal where we did not let them out of their own half, this system of control has mostly seen us in possession with little penetration, labour to break down teams and fail to create open chances. Not surprising- it's usually 10 v 11 in their half with space at a premium.

On the other hand, we usually give up fairly open, high quality chances when long balls are played over the top. High risk low reward. It's too demanding of defenders who are not, and will probably never be, at the same level VVD was. No wonder their confidence is shot.
