There was a think on Talk Crap with Ray Stubbs and Mick Quinn about Everton and their lack of activity in the transfer market and all the bitters were moaning.
If I was them the less activity that went on the happier I would be, as it is likely to be all their best players going out and a load of shite coming in

Even if he was, I'm not really surprised we didn't hang on to him. I'd sign him now, but in those days his defending was nowhere near as good as his attacking play and it's only fairly recently that that gap has narrowed.
