Hendo'n his way out

I'm not doubting Dom's brother, and my memory is so crap I have no idea, but, out of interest, I pulled up the squad from 2002/3 which is about midway between Dalglish's two periods as manager. Which of these had played for Dalglish in his first stint or went on to play for him in his second?

I could be wrong, but don't recall any of them playing under Kenny during his first spell (1985-91). Surely these were all mid-90s onwards? Maybe only Carragher and Gerrard were around long enough for his second spell (2011-12)?

JJurgen with a little dig there

I know I should care as he's been here for ages and won everything for us including the PL title we've craved for so long... but I don't. Ditto Firmino and the rest of them.

I suppose that's another aspect - at least for me - of holding onto players for too long and seeing the team suffer as a result.

I was genuinely sad when Mane left while understanding that this was a smart piece of business on our end. Will be the same when Salah leaves. For Hendo and others, respect what you did, right time to leave, etc. etc.
