About the only Real Madrid man who actually gave a flying hoot during their pathetic five match run of defeats.

Unfortunately for the Argentine striker, his 22 league goals won’t be enough to keep him up the Bernabeu pecking order next year, with the infinitely more marketable Kaka & Co. set to take his place.

To be blunt, if Higuaín isn’t a starter, then the new regime at Real Madrid are idiots.

I actually can't see Real selling Higuain because having improved immeasurably since he first arrived, he's been one of their best players over the last two years.

If they are silly enough to want rid however, perhaps we should be interested. I remember us being linked to him quite heavily whilst he was still in Argentina and I can see Rafa being a fan. He's still only 21 and has the potential to improve further.

Benitez did identify him as one of the few players that could hurt us in the Madrid game too, I think it was Mascherano that said they were only worried about keeping Robben and Higuan in front of them because the rest weren't a danger.

What sort of role do you think he could fill for us Keni ?

Well, it's the same 'ol problem with bringing any striker to the club at the moment - where would he play?

He's played out wide for Real quite a bit but he isn't exactly pacey and I think he's wasted out there, so really he should be up front. I actually think he'd combine quite well with Torres.

What about:

Robben
Sneijder
Van der vaart

I'd imagine these players of the old regime will be offski. Fancy a dabble?

I well rate him.
Id love it if we signed him.

That's the kiss of death then.

He must be rubbish

I thought he was quite pacey, thats my impression at least after watching him quite a bit.

Quality player and one I would also love to see us sign. Really impressed with his goal tally this season including some emphatic finishes. His winner against Getafe (I think, the game Pepe went berserk) is sublime.

Don´t think they will sell him...but they do have a huge squad (with all the players they have on small buy-back clauses) and a new manager so who knows? Would be great if we got him though.

No thanks.

I'd sign Robben and Ramos from Real. In fact get Ramos back in form and playing right back for us and Robben flying down the left wing killing teams then we'd have a hell of a side.

Thing is, they spent a fortune on Ramos and will look to recoup as much as possible. The sheer amount of other teams interested means Madrid won't have to sweat.

As for Robben, if his attitude was spot-on and he wasn't such a cunt, I'd cast aside his injury concerns and see it as a risk worth taking, given the shortage of 'world-class' wide-men and the fact on his day he's probably the best of the bunch. But as it stands I think he's too much of a gamble.

What RB's have Madrid bought to warrant them selling Ramos? Ramos won't be for sale.

On a side note Garay is back with them after his season loan. An excellent player and another defender for them.

:-\

I would not consider either of those players. Sorry but Robben just isn't going to play for us, injury prone and older. ps he's also a cunt.

Ramos is an attacking right winger playing right back. He's a liability.
