There's a certain aniseed-flavoured drink which, when drunk, makes you trump like a motorbike starting up. Hence the saying:

Absinthe makes the fart go Honda.

I'd rather sign his brother E.
To be fair I've never seen him play so by that, I'd be reluctant to shift £12m on the big fella.

Hahaha.

I'd like to think that was just for me?

No Street Fighter fans?
I knew you'd like that, but I also thought it might be well recieved by the good folk of 6CM.

As I was saying..

Don't feel so bad though; my favourite arcade games were 1942 and Space Harrier.

1942? Space Harriers? Sounds like they were crazy times. When I was a lad there was no such thing as Wii motion plus. We just had normal Wii remotes without the extension. Kids today don't know they're born!

1942 was amazing!

I missed the street fighter reference. I was trying to get a 'hundred hand slap' line in but couldn't manage it 🙁

I had

'Roy needs a bloody hundred hand slap for considering spending so much on this guy'

but didn't get round to posting it.

Loads of rumours about us having started negotiations with Honda and CSKA.
Average player from a shit league.

May as well save our cash and give Jovanovic a chance.

Loads of rumours from where?

Read it on some other sites, mainly from people on Twitter who know their stuff.

He's definetly not an average players. Wenger recently called him a genius and one of the better performers at the WC.

Most of these kids wouldnt remember, Paul.
And us Zimmer riders wouldn't have known in the first place.

Where would he play. On the left of a 4-4-2? From what I've seen of him he would struggle out there. Perhaps Roy will abandon the 4-4-2?

Honda is extremely talented and i've wanted him for a couple of years now. Loads of potential with enough talent already in his back pocket.

Yes please

A couple of years? You've followed him with the mighty Nagoya Grampus Eight and VVV-Venlo?

Since his rise to prominence at vvv venlo at least. Saw gin these and thought he was a talent. Followed his career since his move to russia. I hoped we would get him when he moved from venlo

Fair enough.

I hadn't really heard of him until the World Cup. What I saw I liked, but I'd be reluctant to base any opinions of him on a few games playing an international competition.

From another site:

Local paper in Holland for former club of Honda is reporting Honda was back in Venlo this week. Apparently he has told people he wants to move to us and discussions between Honda and Liverpool already have taken place.

Nagoya Grampus won the J-League this season 8)

Reports during the festive period had suggested that the Japanese international had agreed a verbal agreement to join Liverpool, a rumour that the player’s representative was eager to clear up.

“No there is no truth in that rumour.†Kees Ploegsma explained to Sport.co.uk.

“There is constant speculation surrounding Liverpool, but the real situation is that there is only interest from them, and they have not made a firm offer.â€

Ploegsma admitted that his client was keen to push through a move to Anfield.

“If he could move to a club like Liverpool it would be great, but the two clubs must come to an agreement first. The Premier League is a great competition which he would like to play in.â€

Honda’s representative also hinted that Liverpool’s current situation on and off the pitch was slowing down any possible transfer for the Japanese international.

“I don’t know what the situation is at Liverpool.†Ploegsma continued.

“Is the manager staying? Are the new owners going to invest as they are struggling in the league? All I know is we have no formal offer, and we have the rest of the window to see what materialises.â€

Don't know much about him, but any football related dream i've had has come to fruition.

Sit back and relax Fabio. It's Done.
