Watching this guy in preseason, I could tell he had all the tools to succeed. Spectacular Torres-esque goal today. I just hope he continues to improve and injuries do not curtail his progress.
Love this guy ... but he needs to learn how to head the ball (like Torres could) ! It's his one weakness. If he could then he'd already have another 4-5 goals by now. I was watching Figuera for our U18, now HE can head the ball (5-6 headed goals already this season).

Do the data nerds not do similar?
Go out and have a look at what they bought.
Surely after seeing him up close they could have patted themselves on the back for an excellent job and put all that Isak money back in the bank.
Good point about his heading ability. He gets in great positions and has the height/frame to win a lot of headers and be a threat in the air.
Its something that can be worked on the training field at least. Haaland used to suck at heading as well but has worked on it for a while and has now added that ability to his game. Will for sure result in some more goals for Hugo Torres Ekitike.
There was a moment in the first 10 minutes, where he won a throw in from Burn. He gave a look of āthese are fucking shit and Iām going to show them levelsā. Pretty much what Torres realised about the prem when he played Chelsea.
I actually don't think he's arrogant. That to me would mean him strutting around giving it large with some kind of "I'm Da Man" act to be seen by others, whereas he comes across to me simply as confident and secure in himself. It's all good.
