i think it's time we flog off a few players ... glenjo? sorry, not worth the salary or the attacking abilities he brings to the game. Lucas? Keep him because unlike most of the others, he fucking cares and tries. moses? Allen or you have the top 3 locked up for worst misses of the season.
I'd sell the fucking lot of them based on today's performance.
Just shite.. Moses is inept... Suarez had an off day... Sterling is out of his depth and Skrtel is now starting to show just why he was dropped towards the end of last season..

I was telling Lech on FB that this loss made me grumpy because I felt we had the chance to do something this season ... that we could win games we didn't deserve and get on a good run ... I think I'm back to the frustrating reality that we're an average squad with two great strikers who have a manager who's not worked out that our central midfield is wank.
I don't get why Sakho isn't starting - he was dominanting against Ukraine in a pressure cooker atmosphere. He is our marquee signing - he should be starting every fucking game.
Also, if you spend 20 million on 3 players - and none can get any game time, what is that telling us about our scouting? about our ability to waste money?

At least Skrtel bothered to throw himself infront of everything, as opposed to Agger's tactic of stay the fuck away from the danger so you don't end up directly responsible for anything. Johnson and Toure were a joke today, as for Moses, he's fucking garbage. Least said about wonderman the better.

Moses was at fault for the first goal, and Skittles tried to block it and got unlucky.
The third goal was because Toure was injured and playing Hull onside.

The sloppy way midfield kept losing the ball and inviting Southampton to attack us was the biggest problem. Skittles won a shit load of tackles and made numerous interceptions which he wont get any credit for.

This game was an opportunity for Sterling and Moses to show to the world that they are worthy of a first-team place and they both failed dismally.

Poor team selection but in the end the players didnt perform. I'd drop a few of the shithouses from today against Norwich. Johnson, Skrtel, Toure, Flanno, Sterling and Lucas. Moses aswell but we've not got that many options. Our summer spending was really showing its worth today when Studge and Coutinho were out. Poor. No first teamers bar Sakho and Mignolet, and our midfield is a gaping hole. We've kept 1 clean sheet in the last 10 games, Skrtel is the only one who has played every game. Its time to try Agger and Sakho. We desperatly need a few good defensive performances before the tricky away games. Lets just forget today. Ring the changes, kick the shite out of the lads for that game and demand 3 points against Norwich. There isnt a point in doom mongering, but Rodgers needs to adress our issues now.

Said the other day Suarez cant do it every game, that basically looks like what the team were hoping for today, lots of shithousery out there.
That performance brought back memories of some of those regular nighmare performances we had under Kenny and Roy, grim grim stuff.
he was pretty much marshalling the back four singlehandedly, he got virtually no help. Where was the midfield for their second goal? It was like a carbon copy of last weeks one where no one picked up Lukaku.

Agree, he was so much better than any other Liverpool player out there today.
Hansern - why are you ripping into Flanno? He played within himself and at least looked like he cared.

I also think people are being very harsh on Sterling - he worked hard and tried to create problems. I think he didn't do badly at all.
Always been a Johnson fan but fuck me he played like he had swallowed a bottle of valium before the match, he has these form patches and needs to snap out of it sharpish, he ones of our senior players and we need some responsibility for him and him playing well, not like some fan whos won a competetion to play for Liverpool.

Skrtel is the least of our worries, him along with Mignolet and Suarez are the only players to man up consistantly this season, nit picking away at him seems pointless when theres so much more to worry about all over the pitch.
