I love me some Joga bonito, but that was not the right place for it. You're playing against kids and reserves and with one man more on the pitch.

I didn't mind it but they were sh1te, nothing that no one will want to avoid in next round. We were up twice and should have won with out Team C. I wouldn't personally start doing things like that against a bunch of kids but whatever floats their boat.

This is close to the pinnacle of the sport and we're all alegedly big boys.Theyve earned the right to showboat a bit by beating whats in front of them. Not their fault we played a second string, or that we got a man sent off. If they play that way and we cant get the ball off them then fair play. Didnt see anyone up in arms when Bobby did his no look goals...

Should they be pissed off that we didnt respect them by sending our U21s? No, beat whats in front of you then move on.

True, but they were also playing against Liverpool. Whom they’ve never beaten. At home. They didn’t choose our squad. If they get smashed next round they will still have this game. I’m all about it.

Their manager didn't like it so it does say something. You can beat a team and be classy about it too. Especially when there's kids on the pitch.
