I know it's never good to dwell on the past - But my favourite ever player (i've seen live) - Suarez

Uruguay seems to have an abnormal amount of buck toothed strikers:

If Suarez were to be available at, say 31-32 years old, would you take him?
He's never relied on electric pace and and stamina can still be worked on at that age. I would.

Actually if Barca season Peters out...we should try our luck for a 6 month loan in the second half of season if we have even the remotest chance of fighting for title...

I think he will come....but we need to find a way to stop him from biting people.

I hate like I hate any player who leaves us.
Fuck Suarez
Boo! he was and is a fucking baller that has never dissed the club. In fact I suspect he might return one day. (Based on fuck all knowledge) I saw him live about 5 times and he was stunning. The movement - Energy and skill where the finest I've ever seen in my 41 years of being a red - And yeah I'll put him above KK and Gerrard - Barnes etc. Feel feel to call me a cunt!

The game against Norwich about 12:30 in that video was ridiculous, really good goals.

He punished the mistakes defenders almost always get away with

I was there that day! There were plenty other 6CM'ers there also would back me up, He was fucking unplayable that day!

I didn't even celebrate some of the goals he scored because I was too busy laughing.
Gerrard in his pomp was unbelievable and a bright light amidst one too many seasons of mediocrity for the team but I have to say Suarez for the latter 2 years of his time with his us particularly his last year produced the best football I've ever seen by a Liverpool player ...it was ridiculous.

Whilst we all do need to move on, players come and go but I think it's perfectly normal to reminisce over such a talent as Suarez. United fans still go on about Ronaldo to this day...rightly or wrongly.

With a lot of luck I actually watched his first game for us, 2-0 against Stoke.
I remember what a magician he seemed to be.

Someone post a vid of his goal against Depor on Saturday please.

So I can blow my load all over the fucking show again at his first touch for that goal. Have a fucking look at how quickly he shifts his feet to take that ball with his left foot and guide it perfectly into a shooting position.

It's so good it beggars belief.

Hes the best in the world , he probably was whilst still with us in fairness .

A real joy to watch

Apart from being arguable the best player to ever play for us, he was arguably the hardest worker and easily the hardest working striker which is a trait every single fan loves and why Kuyt was loved so much.
It's usually the average footballers in terms of ability you expect to work hard for their lack of talent. You can almost forgive truly gifted players for not working hard defensively, Ronaldo is the perfect example, so when you get someone as good as Suarez and he works harder than a Kuyt or a Gerrard it blows your fucking mind. It's like girl you shagged for a while that ticked every single box. You'll always look back on her fondly even if she did fuck off

Steady on! There are more than a few that can lay claim to that before you even get to Suarez. It's going way over the top, he hasn't even produced his best form for us - that's been at Barca.

I don't think a couple of years of scoring goals and picking up lengthy bans compares to the 22 trophies and sheer influence on the club (just as a player) that our actual best ever player Kenny Dalglish amassed. Suarez' only trophy at Liverpool was won under Dalglish's stewardship.

I don't agree. There isn't a poster on here who admires the King more than I do, and His Caledonian Majesty King Kenneth Mathieson Dalglish unquestionably had the best Liverpool career of any player ever to wear the shirt, but in terms of sheer individual brilliance I'd give the crown to Suarez now, and I've been a Red since Shanks first arrived. No other player throughout that time has caused me to say "How the **** did he do THAT?" as often as Suarez did in just those couple of years.

I've lurked around here for long enough to know that that is high praise indeed from yourself, Jules.

Completely agree!
