Just on this question - or at least related.
Has anyone been watching much of Spurs? What do you think of them?
I've seen some games and at times they've looked outstanding.
The raping they endured from city early on, however, still sits with me. Are they simply "flat-track bully's" or are they a genuine force?

Just noticed the thread again, and this is a question which deserves an answer. 😉 I don't think they're flat track bullies, but I do think they can be got at if teams attack them. Yes, there's a risk involved in that they're excellent going forward, but get in their faces and you've got chances against them IMO.

I'm not sure if that's answered my question or not JJ. :-\ It may well have in a sort of indirect way.
I'd agree with you entirely - if you get in Spurs faces then you've got chances against them. That said, I'd think the same regarding City.
Are Spurs really that good as to be considered competition to city? I think they're much better than what a couple of posters on here would have us believe but I'm not sure I put them up there with the clubs from manchester. As I said, though, it could be that hammering from city first up which is raising all these doubts.

For the avoidance of any doubt then: yes, I do think they are a force, not on the scale of Manchester City who are gelling ominously (though they too can be disrupted as you say), but I actually think the Spurs first team comes reasonably well out of a comparison with ManUre's at the moment. They don't have ManUre's winning momentum as a club, but that's a rather different matter.
