If you pay what the clubs want and dont hassle about for a few million, its possible to buy a player pretty quickly you know.
Bony has a 19 mill release clause

Just isn't the type of striker I think we need. I'd love to have a more versatile striker. We already have his type in Lambert.
I wouldn't be mad if Bony was bought but there are better options I think.
 
But who are the options? There's very few AFFORDABLE players who can play across the front 3. It's either a winger or a striker

Jesus just because we're being linked to Bony doesn't make him the best and only option in the world.
 
As it stands, we're fucked. Definitely need a striker who is good at scoring goals. Fuck all the stuff outside the box

I never said it does

If you want a goal scorer we buy a striker, if you want a versatile player we buy a AM who can play winger.

Only the best in the world can play all of those positions

Personally, I'm not opposed to buying an out and out striker

why is affordability a major factor? we spunked 25m on Lallana and still have 75m in the bank. We should be aiming high irrespective of price.

Because we need to be able to afford the player and strengthen across the pitch?

There aren't many options in that price range anymore. Potentially better options at 10-15M, and then the highly priced elite options at 30-50M.

The guys in Bony's range: Adrian Ramos, Immobile, Manduzkic, etc have already moved on. Maybe Seydou Doumbia...
 
It's a bit early like. We're not the only club still getting business done, and we've probably bought more players than anyone else.

Young, can play across the three, pacey and has a good goal scoring record.

What do you guys think? How much would he cost?
 
If only we had a striker who could score most of his goals against shite teams, or when we're up 1-0, to lay our fears to rest once Studge gets injured!
