If Sturridge gets injured

Heung Son Min?

Young, can play across the three, pacey and has a good goal scoring record.

What do you guys think? How much would he cost?

I'd rather Firmino, 22 Goals 16 Assists in all competitions last season. Might not be a prototypical striker, but a player who can work his way into that role. Played as a CF a few times last season.

Bit like Suarez really. Has the ability in front of goal to score, the dribbling and intelligence to create space, and the passing ability to create for others. Could be an absolute bargain at the 12-15M figure.

So Bony - a striker - isn't the answer if our main striker breaks, but Fischer - a winger - is?

I'm thinking you are not so sure of the question.
Since when is Fischer a winger?
I was asked to name a striker who's available and would cost less or just about the same as Bony.

You want my preferred choice, simple Cavani.
Or Reus.

Most of this thread has been the usual tit-for-tat with Modo, but his original point is entirely valid:

If he gets injured, we are indeed fucked. Beyond that though, I want some serious competition and/or a partner for him even if he doesn't get injured. I'm not comfortable at all with us relying on Sturridge as the main man.

Which Is why we won't be relying on him. Modo is speaking too soon. If the window was shutting next week, fine, but there Six weeks left in window, and the Clint Dempsey debacle will teach our owners not to pee around. We will pay over the odds though for whoever. But we will have one if not two new strikers In shortly.

If not, I'll change my username to Localaspas.

We need two top attacking players, and a left back, and preferably also another midfielder.

That's a big ask in 4 weeks, with the season starting in 2.

Starting to look a bit worrying now.

had put his name long back...if he perform this season, or even until Jan, expect him to get sold for large amount of fee

Yeah, he is I think. What about Insigne? Read sometime ago that Rafa didn't like him much.

Seems a fabulous talent. Maybe we can pry him away? Or are we too wary of Italians?

i know it's obvious but i think that we will have a very similar season to spurs last year. we will be out of the cl next year.
