A pols if already done, it has been a little mad due to the transfer window mayhem, but I've just read that the FA have approached Ilori to consider switching his allegiance to England. Apparently his dad is English/Nigerian and he was born in London. He is eligible for Portugal, England and Nigeria!

Not trying to slight what I hope will be a superb talent we have invested in, but how sad does this make England?

Using my ipad so apols for any shitty ios spelling 'corrections'

I think he said he lived in London until he was 8, that makes it less sad imo.

As opposed to say the French ? Or Irish, Scots, Welsh, USA and many others ? Sign of the times and a cosmopolitan, mobile workforce and immigration policies.
