Not to be playing in the Qualifying round of the CL this season. This is the first time since 2002 I think, is it? I quite like the extra break, and slightly less pressure...for another few weeks..

Everton probably signed Screech due to it last year after seeing us play them. Nice not to have to compete in it and relax and wait for the group stages.

It is nice, but by the same token we've often performed really poor them and it's given us a wake up call ahead of the Premiership Kick Off.

I really hope we don't go to Spurs a bit rusty and out of sorts, which is generally how we've looked pre-season, and injuries (and speculation) haven't helped either.

Yeah, but that's pre season innit? We've been brilliant pre season before and then been shite in the early season. I'm always worried about this too, but it's almost the same team as last year, bar the choir boy, so I have faith. Come on you boys in Red..
