Beyond that, the fans deserve to see at least a few players on the bench capable of changing a game. I’m all for treating the League Cup with a bit of disregard, as clubs in Europe shouldn’t really be in it anyway, but for last year’s finalists to effectively throw a match reflects poorly on the club and on football as a whole.

Three from three would be outrageous but even a point would be a great result.

At this stage a point against City wouldnt be a good result.. It would virtually finish any chance either us or city would have of catching arsenal

That's not the issue. He 'rested' players he still didn't pick after. How are they supposed to gain match fitness?

I have a feeling thats the last of the losses for a while. Slot has earned a free pass this season imho
