Job security - arne

A good time for a new manager is going into a tough game, nothing to lose really, expectations are low, and always a chance you come out of it well. I wonder if we'll have a new manager for the City game.

We should identify a manager that has beaten Qarabag in European competition, and appoint him immediately.

That post doesn't make sense; failure to win the next game means his job will rely on the game after that, if he fails to win that one, then he must get results in the next two, if he doesn't get results there, his next game will be massive.

Look, if he doesn't win the first home game of next season then he really has to get 9 points from the following 3 games or there'll be exclusive crisis talks, which we will never ever refer to again and hope you all just forget about.

I mean, how is that not clear?

why does it feel like we’re sneakily downshifting to align any new manager with the end of the window

Or Alonso’s contract with Madrid has a few stipulations like gardening leave and signing for a club who Madrid wants play in the playoffs of the CL.

those things could well be in play but if we land xabi in a weeks time i don’t think so. it’s giving me weird guehi summer vibes where we’re going to suffer by not doing it sooner.

let's face it, more often than not we leave it to the 11th hour of a transfer window to do things, so why should this be any different. I'm not holding my breath on anything happening soon. And the issue is, we have Champions League games which somehow seem to be a piece of piss, so it's giving him an unwarranted reprieve, when really, the league is the bread and butter and the soft twat has got us playing like relegation fodder.

i think i heard a stat earlier that no pl club has ever qualified for the cl with our current points per game, something like 1.57.

its not getting better, its time
