Kai Havertz wunderkind

I really hope we've saved up this summer to land this kid when he becomes available.

I can see us, City, United, Bayern and Madrid all throwing a bid in.

He looks stronger than the kid Atletico Madrid signed so I can see why some think he could fulfill the Firmino role, although that athletico is very good too.

Looks like Sancho is playing against Hvertz this weekend so should be an interesting watch

Don't do this to yourselves.

There's a greater chance of Jeremy Corbyn being PM than us signing either of them.

Hate to spoil the party but he's bound for Munich or Dortmund.

Im not understanding the pessimissm, I know that paprt from VVD that we dont go crazy but surely the money is there if Klopp really wanted him?
I get Munich but can Dortmund really afford to100m, that would break the German record wouldnt it, unless they sold Sancho...? 100m+ these are the prices that are being spoken of for Haverts and considering Athletico spent 100m+ on that Portuguese wonderkid that valuation for Haverts isnt far off.

It's because German players seem to prefer German clubs. We failed with Goretzka before.

Id take Havertz over Sancho if that was the choice, I think Sancho now, like Mbappe, is pretty much as good as hes going to get where as players like Havertz tend to get better with more experience so hes probably got a higher ceiling in terms of potential.

I also think hes a more realistic prospect than Sancho as he doesnt yet have the the same superstar in waiting type of profile. All indications are he will move next summer and we should be doing whatever it takes to bring him to Anfield, our current midfield is probably at the tipping point agewise and we need to start looking at building the next generation.

Every once in a while you need to take a big risk and bet the farm on a special talent, I think hes that sort of player.

How did you come to the judgement that Mbappe and Sancho can’t improve? That’s insane.

-Most hyped midfielder in Bundesliga
- Bayern already tried last season
- Reus and Brandt been tapping him up for Dortmund all summer
-boyhood Barcelona fan

0.2% chance friends.

But wouldn't they be making more money abroad? Or maybe it's about giving the league a few years then moving abroad?
It’s weird isn’t it. So many of their great players over the years have stayed in Germany/Bayern. But then so have the English players.
Maybe Sane/Sancho is the start of something.

Yeah, I guess they rate their league a lot higher than people on the outside think. That being said a whole lot of German players have played abroad but they never left early like Sane. To see German u21s play abroad is still very rare.

Yes, quite. And maybe - I'm not sure about that though - they regard their chances to play for Germany higher when they play in the Bundesliga. Some players playing abroad have been overlooked in the past.
