Thing is. We gave him credibility way beyond his ability. He was at his level when we bought him. Once he returns to same level he should be ok, but being absolute dog shit doesn’t help.

If it's the video i'm thinking of, it was of him working out getting ready for the season. While pretty cringe, what's so wrong about it? He is (or at least was) too involved in social media, which is a big mistake. Don't think anything good has ever come out of social media for any type of public figure.
As for sympathy? why shouldn't people have sympathy for the guy? It's clear that one game destroyed his time at Liverpool and has affected his career even after he's left, when the guy did nothing wrong.
This is what's wrong with spineless people. Coutinho drags the shirt through the mud and we have retards saying they want him back, but players like Karius (or Can, or many others), who left while never dishonoring the team, are villified.

In the 19 games he played that 2nd half of the '17-18 season, he had 10 clean sheets in 19 games and allowed 14 goals, at least 1 of which was a PK. That's pretty darn good and it's very likely if not for that CL final he would not have been moved on.
I certainly don't follow the Turkish league, but whoscored, that apparently has one of the best rating systems around, had him at 6.84 last season and 6.59 this season. May not be world class, but far from "shite".

He's one of the most glaring examples of stats papering over what you can see with your eyes. Eg, a player might have great pass accuracy, but in reality he's passing it 2 yards every time he gets it.
The reason he conceded so few was because he was behind one of the best defences around, especially after Virgil came in.
To say he was moved on based on one game where he was likely concussed is disingenuous. Klopp, like the rest of us, had had enough of him because he was consistently fucking up and that final was the straw that broke the camel's back.

He might have made a couple of good saves but generally, he was a massive liability and our loss in the CL final was entirely due to him. At times he looked scared of the ball especially when he came back from injury.

Yeah. It is a strange obsession in one of our best periods as a club. This is probably the time where we are in a position to take the leading position in England, and we are European and World Champions and people still have a need to hound Loris Karius? Weird

If you want to argue a point for or against anyone, you need to do better than a YT video. You can probably pick any goalie you like and find a video of his mistakes or top saves, ditto any field player who may look amazing on a highlight video but really isn’t that good.
Same for Can and others like Moreno, though the latter not as recent. People can’t be happy if they’re not putting someone else down, but those same clowns will sleep with a Suarez pillow case and Coutinho bed sheet even though they were absolute cunts when forcing their way out.
