Sometime back (when Rogers was in charge) I posted a video of Borussia Dortmund's style of play and many were rightly envious.
As Klopp presses his stamp on the team this is how we look when we play

Two things I noticed from the clip is how much Wini and hendo do which goes unnoticed and how much of our game is one touch. It is scintillating at times!!
Bloody hell.
We have waited ages for a post from you and we get two in a row.
🙂

Yeah, Hendo is particularly prominent in that vid, but Gini is involved in some very cool moves too. Lallana and Mane are also such dynamic forces in this team. We have been absolutely incredible to watch at times.

Can we use this moment to finally put to rest once and for all the ridiculous notion that "managers don't make a difference?" The only reason we are playing like that is because Klopp is training the players to play like that. We are playing the same style of football as Borussia of a few years ago and I'm enjoying it tremendously.

My favorite moments from the video:
  1. Firmino's delicate floated cross for Mane – I love that even though flight of the ball is very slow, almost slow-motion slow, the precision and timing is such that defenders and goalkeeper can do absolutely nothing to prevent it from landing on Mane's foot.
  2. Another slow pass by Firmino, this time to Coutinho – great vision to see this pass through a crowd of players and the weight once again perfect.
  3. Ejaria's pass for Wijnaldum (saved) – great vision and execution by the youngster.
  4. Origi's goal vs Boro at the end of the video – 13 passes involving 7 players (I think), most of them 1 touch.
  5. Woodbuuurrrrnnn!

erm... that vid - yes nice effort showing our play-making ability but would it hurt to show a few shots actually hit the back of the net - like us scoring ?

Like a few of those shots on the video, you're totally missing the goal of the thread.

A few things I've noticed about our play under Klopp, amongst other things.

We attack in numbers, every attack we have 5 or more players getting into the box making it difficult to defend.

At times there is 4 players circling and closing down opposition players, don't give them time to think what to do.

The silky 1 touch moves, it creates space, it creates chances and is hard to defend, this is another reason we've scored so many goals in 2016.

Klopp has been an amazing signing, I don't want to think of the day that he leaves.
