Maybe Klopp is giving him a chance?Lazar? Wtf?
Maybe Klopp is giving him a chance?
Nope.I'd be more interested in who's not in them. Is anybody of note missing out?
Nope.
I think the fact both Rodgers and Klopp have seen enough to bomb him out on loan at every opportunity tells it's own story. His performances were never awful, IMO, some even showed promise, but I reckon his attitude must stink for both managers being extremely keen to get rid of him. If I were to guess, I'd say he still believes all the hype be built up in Portugal.I don't understand how any of us can have an opinion on him ? - he has hardly played for us since signing - I remember he was getting better and was really doing well when we played Real Madrid before his sending off. No one has played him for what 3 games in a row.
Salah also has goal instincts. You know right place, right time type of player. Just like Luis Garcia.I see him as rather similar to Salah in his style of play - a very fast and direct player, not many tricks in his bag.
However, Salah seems to be a much better player as he's braver and more ambitious than Markovic, who seems to avoid tackles and duels.

The goal he scored against Hoffenheim when Wijnaldum hit the post, typical Garcia goal, and that's why Salah gets so many chances in the game. Constantly moving around.
Said that to Piedro the other week, salah is exactly like garcia in the way he follows shots in to the box. Felt like we haven't had that for years.Salah also has goal instincts. You know right place, right time type of player. Just like Luis Garcia.

He's not that fast, or at least, he doesn't have explosive pace. Salah is at full speed within a few strides, Markovic is like a shopping trolley full of rocks released on a steep hill. Can is a a bit like that too. Because he doesn't have that instant pace he will never have that capacity to make the runs that get him behind the defence time and again, as Salah does. Salah makes an extraordinary amount of sprints each game, and every time it is potentially dangerous. It wouldn't be with Markovic no matter how many sprints he makes.I see him as rather similar to Salah in his style of play - a very fast and direct player, not many tricks in his bag.

Clyne, Ings, Markovic are not in the CL squad. Coutinho and Lallana included.I'd be more interested in who's not in them. Is anybody of note missing out?
Even Lallana who was reportedly out till Nov is included ahead of him. If it's to make full use of the slot then surely Ings is/will be more ready than Lallana? What is going on with Clyne.
What is his injury?
There seems so little mention of it anywhere
Definitely falls in the Speedy Gonzalez camp. Horrible waste of money.
