Klopps to Leave at the End of the Season

Nah, I totally believe that Klopp will enjoy being the normal one and living a normal life for a bit. It won't surprise me if at some stage next season, if an interesting job comes up that he'll take it, and a whole new group of supporters will get to fall in love with him. Or is he just waiting for the Germany job to come available? If Nagelsmann has a poor Euros will they immediately move for Klopp? International footy would give him much more time with his family and especially being based in Germany.

I'd love it if Klopp won the World Cup.

Love it.

Inter Milan midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has sung the praises of Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

Mkhitaryan played for Klopp at Borussia Dortmund.

He said, "What kind of coach is Klopp? Psychologist.

"Which gives you confidence and gives you freedom on the field. You will give your life for him."

Klopp has announced his departure from Liverpool at the end of the current season.

=====

Thomas Gronnemark is a name highly regarded inside football. Indeed, the specialist throw-in coach worked with some of the world's best players in his time at Liverpool before joining Thomas Frank and Brentford last summer.

Gronnemark joined Liverpool in 2018 and was part of their success which saw them win a Champions League and a Premier League title.

Reflecting on his time with Klopp, Gronnemark remarked: "He's a fantastic guy to work with, he is funny, he is ambitious, and he is also a really good listener.

"He gives his colleagues responsibilities, and he isn't the only person who talks, [he] allows others also to talk. For example, during my time there I was free to organise the training session as I would prefer, always coordinating with him and his staff but he never got in the middle of my session and was never obligated to do things or change things.

"Jurgen is good at trusting his staff, trusting his players and that's one of the reasons why people love him. So, I loved all my 5 years with Klopp and at Liverpool."

Former Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has spoken out on Jurgen Klopp's exit from the club.

Klopp is set to depart the Anfield team at the end of the season, despite being in the hunt for two more trophies this season.

The Reds, who have won the Carabao Cup, will miss the German's influence when he leaves.

“He said he was leaving Liverpool? Maybe he will come here (laughs)," Al Nasr star Mane joked with Bourges Foot 18 club.

“He is someone who left his mark on world football, and personally, he contributed a lot to my progress.

“He is a great man, a living legend, who brought a lot, a lot to Liverpool. All the work he did there will, I think, be forever engraved in the memory of all the supporters."

How did you feel when you heard that Klopp said he would leave Liverpool?

I'm shocked realy shocked because my spirit is still at Anfield.
I got recognition and great success because I played for Liverpool.
Klopp is not only a great coach, but he takes care of you like a father.

Don't you think Klopp is in a hurry to leave Liverpool?
Sadio Mane
🗣
Klopp would do well to stay at Liverpool for the next two or three years. However, the decision must be respected.
Even though Klopp has left, he has made Liverpool full of talented young players in all positions of the line-up.

Last question, how are you getting on with your Liverpool memories?
Sadio Mane
🗣
I think anyone who leaves Liverpool with such amazing supporters will always miss them, especially playing at Anfield.” "They Liverpool fans are the best in the world and I will always say that." "I still have a house in Liverpool and I'm not going to sell it. I hope to be back there one day, greeting the fans while watching Liverpool play." …………………

Dirty traitor tramp hugging the opposition.

I'll be glad when he's gone.

You kind of forget that although our farewell to Klopp won't be until the end of the season, he's been saying his goodbyes to opposition players and staff for months.

Probably depends if we are in the Uefa Cup final or not
In case we don't make the final - would that make it a day or 2 after the last league game?

Sorry for kidnapping the thread, just trying to sort my holiday to come up for that

Lads, Jaysis, come on now. It's not over yet. We're not even out of the EL yet. FFS.

Doubters to Believers. An early goal v Atalanta and we are back.

We're top of the league and only second on Goal difference.

We're in a terrific spot. Don't blow it by being bottlers

Its not unthinkable but very unlikely. The biggest advantage is, we sit joint top (2nd on GD). I want us to focus on the league now (Atlanta should act as a kick-up the backside).. and if we win the remaining 7 games, we will win the league... Arse and Man City will have the CL and league to juggle, and I hope both go through as it will be a distraction.

I need us to focus on the league AND the EL fightback. I have expensive hotel rooms in Dublin to justify payment for

WTF. You live there don't you? Is this for some bird in the side and you're using the EL final as an excuse?
I live in Clare - its the other side of Ireland from Dublin.

Don't go all American on me - "You're from Ireland, do you know Paddy from Ballykissmyarse?"

I would never even think about living in or near Dublin - its almost as bad as London
