Oh don't do it too soon, it seems to be a good bit of sport for some of the boys.
Why do people do this?
Forums are bound to be a bit of a clique, and/or constructed of several sub-cliques, and we are no different. New posters should follow the protocol of arriving quietly, let people get used to them, and aclimatise to the little idiocyncrasies on both parts, and then and only then start acting like an utter twat , I would suggest 300-400 posts should be acceptable. Otherwise they will find themselves ripped to shreds by all the regulars, even the ones that don't get on. Being here for five minutes and acting the twat is not on and is unfair to the many who are working their way up to that stage by the correct route.

Unfortunately, like too many posters, he got into fisticuffs with other established posters and that was it.
Very common trend here.

Whilst you're right about his 'contribution', berating Blackie Gray isn't really fair since anyone who vehemently disagrees with you (ala rebel23 et. al.) eventually gets the same label.
