A bit slow and very predictable in the first half but woke up and completely dominated them in the second half.

I've wanted Nunez gone since more or less day one and I think today is the first time I've felt sorry for him. He's trying hard, doing center forward things and it's just not happening (standard) - think at one point he was questioning his existence.

Anyways, Gakpo man of the match. We didn't really get out of 2nd gear but ultimately didn't need to.

Perfect set of results so far. Now if Arsenal could drop points that would truly be Woytopia.

I still don't get how the 2nd Gakpo goal was offside. Salah was onside when he took it, went forward, Nunez was onside when Mo's cross came in and Gakpo obviously onside. They gave Mo offside ... but when and how? I haven't seen the replay but I just didn't see it.

When you see others falter over the Xmas period conjestion it’s important to not underestimate how big a win this was.

Chelsea lose at home.
Utd get bummed again.
City drop points again.
Villa get beaten.

We got the win while rotating players and giving fringe players minutes.

Shame Dom got his fifth yellow as we could do with his running against a West Ham side who’s won four in a row.

Diaz rested, Jota continuing his return, Gakpo delivering and Salah breaks the Xmas tree post hoodoo.

Now time for am shit of mammoth proportions to top off the day!

They showed Nunez was offside for Mo’s pass.

I thought there was a rule where you couldn’t be offside if you were behind the passer but guess not. They drew lines against Darwin and the Leicester defender.

Automated offside check promised but not delivered yet. How long does it take them to check and still they manage to get it wrong.

I wouldn’t worry too much about West Ham. Firstly they are shit. Second, they lost two more players today.

Salah was onside and Nunez behind salah so it doesn't matter if he was ahead of the Leicester players.

Can’t be offside if behind the ball. Nunez was in front of ball, as Salah was playing from behind with his left foot. Nunez still looked on to me vs the Leicester defender.

I saw that but the commentator (Irish channel) said it was Salah who was offside and Nunez was onside as he was behind Mo. Neither were offside anywhere for me.

I thought it was just offside because the ball was forward and Nunez was ahead of the next to last Leicester player..

I questioned the signing and thought he wasn’t technically good enough for us or the PL but I’ve grown to love his attitude but it is feeling like he will never make it here. For now he’s adding enough squad depth that I don’t care tbh. Hopefully he gets a run of goals towards a transfer window and someone gives us most of our money back

Nunez was offside for both phases.

Salah was on side for the first which meant Nunez was inactive.

Second phase. Nunez was ahead of both the ball and the defender. The defender was behind the ball. Which means the line was correctly drawn from the defenders knee.

As frustrating as it was, he was offside as even if he missed the ball (which he didn't), he made a move towards the ball.

This is correct. Most of salah ahead of darwin, but the ball crucially wasn't, hence offside.

First half I thought only Mac and Robbo (despite that fuck up for the goal) were decent. Gakpo came into the conversation for the goal.

Gakpo then took it to another level second half. Trent was just wank today. So wank they took him off corners.
