Given that Balotelli and Borini will leave, we need a CF and a DM as urgency and then another AM/WF wouldnt hurt.

It's the weakest part of the entire squad.

Flanagan is forever injured.
Enrique will never kick a ball for us again.
And Moreno's fucking rubbish.

Teams figured out after about 18 minutes of last season that left-back was our weakest area. I'd be fine with developing Moreno's defensive abilities if I felt there was someone in the coaching staff who could do that.
 
LB area lacks genuine quality.

Is Gomez cover for Clyne?

CB is still a big question mark.

DM is a top priority.

We need to get rid of Balo, Lambert and Borini and then another CF is needed.

I mean nailed as in we wont get another. Not that we dont need one.
I mean where we will still strengthen.
 
We should be strengthening LB CM and striker.

I think the only place we will strengthen is up front.

Can can play the DM role if and when required depending on our set up week to week

Don't agree on AM, think that's covered.

I think there's a good chance we'll sign another LB, from the rumours you hear.

DM is needed but I'm not at all confident we'll go for one.
 
Left back definitely needs a dressing, a slightly older established player would be ideal in the Finnan mould, someone stable and reliable with Moreno as understudy.

We can talk about DM's, personally I'd like to see Can given a go with Lucas as back up. We need a striker and ideally another wide attacker. I hope Gomez is cover for Clyne.
 
I see Mark already got there but I see Can as a DM and don't understand why he isn't consider as such by many on here. A henderson, Milner, Can midfield sounds quite decent if they gel.

I'd like to see us get a decent LB and an appropriate striker.

I'd also like to see the back of Borini, Ballotelli, Enrique (with thanks) and, possibly, Allen. If we have the chance to trade loans of Mario Gomez for Ballotelli then I'd take that in addition to new LB & Stiker.
 
Unless Wisdom/Maguire/Whoever else pulls up trees in pre-season (assuming he continues to play Wisdom there) I'd be surprised if we didn't sign a left back. Mind you, in saying that I don't know what the thinking is with regards Wisdom - back up to Clyne? Utility player to keep around till Flanagan gets back? I had assumed that one of Gomez or Ilori will be sent on loan depending on how they got on in pre-season but maybe Gomez's ability to play right back will keep him in the squad.

I don't think we'll sign a DM. I think Lucas, Allen and eventually Can will play there.
 
We need goals, obviously and preferably from someone who is very good playing as a striker.

We need a Xabi / Xavi / Pirlo / Modric type. It doesn't necessarily matter if they're an out an out DM or a bit more attacking, just someone who is a bit more cerebral. We're all guts and glory, too much brawn not enough brain. Looking at the players we've signed on the whole, it feels like more of the same.

Some genuine star quality wouldn't go amiss either but that's likely to only come about if one of our young hopefuls enjoys a Sterling-esque rise.
 
AM is well sorted - we don't need any more IMHO - though it seems with the Yarmolenko rumours that BR might not agree, and we know how he loves his AMs.

I don't think BR sees DM as any sort of priority, though if we sign Illarramendi I'll be content, not a DM per se but someone to dictate play.

LB rumours persist and you can see why. Moreno needs to up his game considerably, however I'd much prefer a fit Flanno.

Striker is obviously our #1 priority and it looks more and more like Benteke - happy with that if we can't get Lacazette (and I seriously doubt we can).

Fill those three slots and offload Enrique, Balo, Borini and Lambo and we'll have had a very constructive transfer season.

On the contrary our lack of guts and brawn was a feature of LFC 2014/15. Hopefully the addition of players such as Milner, Ings, Firmino and Benteke (if - when) will sort that.
 
Can see us getting another lb when Enrique fucks off.

Sadly dont think Rodgers will go for another dm.
Hope I wrong.

Definetly will get a striker.

Maybe l chose the wrong words. We lacked courage and mental strength, yes, but we are / were a team that is too open and lack the ability to manage games. Not everything can be solved by working and pressing harder.

Alot of pressing we do though is through having quick players rather than physical ones. I think we've managed to bring in a good mix to remedy that a bit, but we still need someone composed in the middle who will dictate things a bit and calm us down at times.
