No, the simple fact that the club is worth more than 237 million and they're willing to pay 40m a year for the benefit. It makes sense to any bank who only has to stump up 237 to give to the twats, make a load of profit in the meantime, then pick up an asset onb the cheap if they go bust. It's simple.

No, it's watertight for the bank. If anything goes wrong they end up with an asset worth more than the loan. If it doesn't they make a load of profit on the interest. It's a no brainer. If I owned a bank, I'd be lending the money and hoping they went bust about 11 months into the term.
