The religion may be a bit odd, but any mormons I've met have been very lovely people.
A bit odd?

Re: Club Refinance Thread

I remember when I was but a youngster just a few years into a job, and got told off about booking an ad for Mars bars into an issue of Maxim.
Because apparently Forrest had seen it (?!) and didn't want his family name in anything remotely salacious.

I don't like Twix, I blame it on the fact that my mum used to buy the massive multi packs when we were kids and we had them as part of our lunch *everyday*, everyday mum throughout primary and middle school. I can't even look at a Twix bar anymore.
Yep I don't like them for the same reason.

Cos I'd lied about liking them for so long I resorted to selling them in seniors rather than come clean.

Oh, & I wanted to know about this girl in Singapore.

According to wiki, he is the second richest person in Sweden, and the 13th richest in the world, with a personal fortune of $22.4 billion. That'll do for a start.

EDIT: Fuck, that's twice today I've been too slow on the trigger.
What then would happen to KHL? Can he still support our club?

Re: Club Refinance Thread

I know nothing about Mormon religion bar the fact there were some living in our street who used to knock on doors & get told to fuck off who then got their house raided, were arrested for dealing weed & presumably went back to the states.

I suspect that isn't endemic of their religion as a whole.

Re: Club Refinance Thread

weirdly the very first sherlock holmes story is about the first mormons in utah, called 'A Study in Scarlet', and they're portrayed as evil nutters in that as well.

Re: Club Refinance Thread

I cant believe you posh fuckers all had Twix in your lunch box. I had like a dunnes stores or stewarts brand generic wafer biscuit or on a good day a Trio or a Breakaway or a Club, but more often than not a blue ribband or some such cheap shit.

Ps-Jean Seberg is a mormon in paint your wagon, and shes the fittest woman ever so mormons are alright with me.

Re: Club Refinance Thread

If this Swedish perrson takes over it will be all yoghurty breakfast bars. Not sure about that.

the hell?!

Re: Club Refinance Thread

So, to sum this thread up, a Mormon who likes twix, buys Maxim to look at Mars Ads and shops at H&M is buying Liverpool? Awesome.

For fuck's sake. Lads click on this thread in the hope that finally there is some good news regarding the sale of the club only to read irrelevant shite about some girl in fucking Singapore.

How about sticking to the topic?

Re: Club Refinance Thread

I can't eat skips as a result of too many packed lunches. I never tired of twix, not sure why. As for the new owners, yeah get that Swedish guy in.

Re: Club Refinance Thread

I only get excited when I see Hansern post on this thread. Where does he get these rumours from anyway?

Thanks Mistadobalina, now I want a packet of skips.
