This might be a short thread 🙂

Allegedly- Steve Finnan is the only player to have played in the World Cup, UEFA Champions League, UEFA / Europa Cup, Intertoto Cup, all four levels of the English league football and the Football Conference

I was going to say Glen Johnson has a maths degree but Google is giving me no confirmation that he finished it

Andy Carroll used to rock up at Dirty Antics at Bumper (cheap student night), demand a VIP area, and then started on anyone who took a photo of him. He got barred after his second visit. The manager called him a greasy, camel faced cunt.

Sharp as a marble is Andy.

Steve Heighway got a degree in economics and politics before becoming a professional footballer.

Edit.
(Not such a little known fact for those of us who are older)

Didn't Brian Hall also have a degree around the same time?

Billy Liddel became a porter at Liverpool University students union after he retired from football.

Both little known facts had escaped me.

Billy Liddell was also a magistrate I believe. Not sure but he might have done this while he was still a player.

He also started a very successful construction business post football.
