He was being chased around threads in much the same way Modo is now.
Modo isn't being chased around ffs. The lad is practically a professional wind up merchant. He knows exactly what he's doing and he loves every minute of it, and the more threads he can bring down into name-calling and acrimony the happier he is.
Stop being so soft. I don't even dislike him. But he's not a child, and he's certainly not stupid. If he's intent on acting like a twat much of the time and contributing nothing of value, then well my response would be to fuck him off. Nothing personal, I just don't suffer fools.
What do you call it when the same 4 people respond violently to one person over a majority of what they say. I have to say I've been disagreeing with what he has to say, it's mostly dogshit. But its the same 4 people who jump on his back consistently that really ruins the thread.
And it happened to as good a poster as KHL. Pretty sure the culprits overlap. If you don't want to have the same argument over and over again, then you know what, just don't.

If you chase away everyone who has a different opinion, this place will become sterile and lifeless. I like that Modo is opinionated and I think it's OK to be provocative sometimes. I don't always agree with him, but that's the whole point of a forum – to listen to someone with different views to your own.
As for JAR, I appreciated his effort, but honestly can't say I liked him. Always looked like the weakest part of Rafa's back 4 (which was pretty darn strong defensively, mind you). In fact, I don't think I saw any LB since I started following Liverpool (2004) that I actually liked. Our left flank overall has been absolutely cursed. Can Moreno finally lift the spell?

Peter - I have repeatedly said Modo is on a windup and ruining threads, because he is, I can't believe people like KJ protest his innocence when he clearly looks for trouble, I guess the numerous people who are irritated by it are being too sensitive to his constant snide remarks. I'm not getting into banning him though because Ive raised the point millions of times and too many posters clearly miss half of what he does and pour sympathy over him. KHL was a nice lad who had strong views about his countrymen, he was easily irritated and upset if people didn't agree, when much of the time it was the fact he would constantly post stuff that wound people up. He couldn't see it, but in his defense alot of posters ridiculed him in the end and thats what drove him from the site. He was always a likeable poster, same with Neil. Do you even read what he posts? It's nothing about what his views are, it's how he portrays them and expresses them in threads. Say you like Lucas, fine, no one has a problem with that. Go and read some recent threads, because you've clearly either missed a massive part of what is fucking people off, or you need to go to Specsavers.
