Didnt someone say Commoli was in Madrid recently?
[/quote]

Andrew Heaton was on the same Madrid to Valencia flight as him.

Krump- what does "Kevin Bacon shit" mean ?

Keni is correct. Gago is not that good.

6 degrees of Kevin Bacon

or in Krump's case, 6 degrees of Fernando Gago

Hitler was in Rio Rita (1942) with Tom Conway.

Tom Conway was in Prince Valiant (1954) with Robert Wagner.

Robert Wagner was in Wild Things (1998) with Kevin Bacon.

Le Chac out of the crop of very talented Swiss players of today is there a potential CM coming through the ranks as well?

Xherdan Shaqiri, Innocent Emeghara and Granit Xhaka looks pick of the crop so far. With the last one fitting that bill perhaps?

*Very Swiss-like names btw.

🙂

The beauty of immigration... 😉
They learned their football here though. Id say Shakiri, Xhaka and Frei are the better prospects.
As for a CM, yeah Xhaka will be good but its too early to say if he will be good enough to join a big club.

*Gago thread hijack done

Whenever I've read or heard anything about Swiss football of late it's been positive news. Spend a lot of money on developing youths over the past years and it's paying off. It's your U17 WC-winners who's playing in Denmark now right?

Hope you guys beat the Belarus counter-machine and we get the job done against Iceland. Perhaps we'll then get a chance to make it up for our opening day loss? ;D

*Although it seems we'll have to overcome the well-playing Spaniards first.

Look at it this way, Mourinho is looking at getting Momo in and Gago has no future there.

Thank 'effin GOD Mourinho is not our manager.

FERNANDO GAGO: Midfielder (Price: €10m)
Another want-away midfielder at Madrid who has spent much of the past season injured with knee ligament problems - a setback which saw the 25-year-old making just four league appearances. Gago would prefer to return to Boca Juniors after five years with Madrid, but his home club are not able to stump up the cash, leaving England as a possible destination.

It's hard to say how well Gago would fare in the Premier League. The midfielder is a graceful box-to-box Argentinean number five with a decent passing range, but someone who needs to be played in a specific role with a tactical set-up to suit him, something the Argentine has never enjoyed in the Spanish capital, where he has rarely had the chance to shine.
