I think, if you're allocated a game you have to stick to it. Unless another member is willing to swap. Failing that I can try and offload it for face value. Failing that you have to carry the cost.

Match weekend 1 - Brendan - "Start of match Brendan starts chant of "Fuck off Lucarse, Lucarse fuck off". We get beaten up. Not looking forward to next week"

Match weekend 2 - Ryan - "Ryan shows up wearing joker hat, I let him off because he has travelled a really long way. However, after complaints from the rows behind about Ryans chalkboard blocking the view, and his match analysis scaring the kids, we are ejected. It may be a long season".

At the time I was desperate for him to leave, but in hindsight I think I was just desperate for something to change, because everything was fucked.

I hope he re-establishes his reputation as one of the best coaches/managers in the world. But not in England, obv.
 
7 years since Rafa started, since I saw Owen score one v roma in his last match? In giants stadium. Some great times indeed

Point is though, nothing was going to change unless Rafa did leave, because change was certainly not on his personal agenda.

Like you, I wish him well except when/if we come up against him, which TBH wouldn't surprise me whether or not he stays in the Prem.

I think Arbeloa's comments on Rafa were the most telling, alongside Pennant's oddly enough about how Robotic it was. Everyone knew how Rafa wanted them to play. Worked well in Europe, not so well at home.
