A few hours to KO and still no thread because we are all still bickering re. Everton ? Typical SCM 😱 😀

So assuming Salah (hamstring), Moreno (Ankle), Matip, Clyne and Grujic (broken finger) are all out.

--------------- Mignolet

TAA --- Lovren -- Klavan -- Robertson

---------- Hendo -- Wijnaldum

------------------ Ox --------------

Mane -------- Firmino ----- Coutinho

Lallana might get Ox's starting slot in MF but feel Klopp will introduce him back in gently.

WBA, out due to injury : Barry, Chadli (Late Fitness Test), Philips (Late Fitness Test), Dawson & Morrison.

Big game after the slip up against the bitters.

Fuck sexy football, the only thing that matters tomorrow is 3 pts.

Everything else is a bonus

I wonder if Klopp will try 3 at the back again – after all West Brom are likely to employ similar tactics to Brighton, sit back and hope to catch us on a set piece or with a good cross. In terms of personnel, Salah, Mane, Hendo, Milner and Gomez will be rested after the weekend game, I think. Lallana isn’t ready, according to Klopp - anybody heard anything about Studge? If he’s fit, I think it would be his turn. Oh, and I wouldn't be shocked if Karius starts just because CL is over for now and Klopp will be giving him an odd game here and there to keep him in shape.

3-4-3:
----------------Karius---------------
-----Can---Lovren---Klavan-----
Trent------------------------Robbo
-------Wijnaldum--Coutinho-----
-Sturridge----Firmino---Oxlade-

No way Mane won't start. Klopp will know that. I hope his teammates look for him like they were for Salah against Spartak too - do everything they can to get that man loving life again. With the amount of rotatation going on I don't think any of us have a hope of getting this right but i'd expect something like:

--------------Mignolet--------------
TAA----Lovren---Gomez---Robbo
----------Hendo--Gini---------------
-------------Coutinho---------------
Mane-------Firmino--------Ox

I think Klopp will rotate a bit in this game and Bournemouth away with a view to full strength (i.e. all of the front 4) against Arsenal in 2 games time. That is our must win, statement making game of the winter.

I wonder if Ings might get a feature in either of these games too....

So glad Robertson got a game the other day.... He was actually a very good addition down the left against the Bitters....

I was surprised by his movement and quality of pass behind their defence too, he should definitely be ahead of Moreno.

Yeah, he had an excellent game. I've been pleasantly surprised by him.

Whilst he played well, I found a lot of his and Milner's crosses into the penalty box really annoying. Some of them were poor crosses and other times it was down to a lack of someone in the box that was good in the air, but regardless we probably would have had more luck keeping the ball on the ground.

That reminds me of one cross Ox made from the right that had me going OMG and jumping up off the hotel bed .. no-one there to tap it in but What A Fucking Cross !

Who was that who argued a few months ago that Ox is a terrible crosser of the ball?

Hmmm, looks like we have a suspect.

It's entirely possible. Although it would seem unlikely I would focus on his crossing, when the fact that he's scored a total of 10 Premier League goals in seven and a half seasons is an easier and more obvious issue to focus on.

Don't change the subject Brendan. This isn't an easier and more obvious issue. It's crossing. A more subtle and statistically nebulous issue. And you've potentially been caught bang to rights.

I love how all the usual mongs liked this post, despite it being an obvious joke that I was knowingly playing along with, and actually brought up myself in the first place

Yeah, but Skully apart, look at that fucking line-up: Barba Roja, Insig, Mamma Mia, Froggy.

Amazing

I see no mongs in that list. I'd have any one of those lads in the trenches beside me.

We'd give it to Jerry and no mistake! (Apologies to any people of Teutonic extraction).

I don't think it was Brendan, and of course one cross can't possible negate the whole argument – but it was not just one cross; in recent games there were a few quality deliveries by Ox, from the right side. I just remember the poster was weirdly adamant that Ox can't cross the ball to save his life, which is clearly not the case based on what we've seen on the pitch.

Half of them would think Jerry is a great performer, and we should stop being so harsh on them. No doubt those opposed to Jerry have an agenda to push
