I don't know if Real would let him go but would it be worth a punt?

He's looked a shadow of the player he was at Milan and he's not the most popular in Madrid but I reckon it'd be a great risk free way of trying to inject a bit of quality into the side.

Wages?

Id imagine he'd be on double any Liverpool player

Real would obviously have to subsidise his wages in the way City do with Adebayor, we do with Aquilani etc.

Fuck it, i'd be all over this. If our plan is to bring through young players with an eye to their progression, then I think bringing in a couple of old loanees is a good compliment to have.

But why would Kaka come to us?

If I were in his position, and I was available for loan then LFC would a long way down the list of the clubs that would probably be in for him. Its might well work for us, but I'm not sure it would for him.

I don't know if this even begins to describe him now!

I don't know why we don't utilise loans as much as we have done over the years. There isn't too much to lose for the club recruiting and the player usually wants to do well in order to get a permanent contract. I can only really remember Anelka for us over the years and I think the general consensus was that it was a pretty successful deal. Looking at the Premier League loanees this season there seemed to be a few hit and misses (Benayoun, Bendtner, Drenthe, Kakuta, Boyata, Adebayor, Kyle Naughton, De Laet, Caulker, Ben Foster) but at least the club won't be hit hard financially if the transfer wasn't successful or the player wasn't the right fit.

Ken, fuck off.

You never start threads. So here I am opening the football forum, see your name attached to a new thread that has fucking Kaka coming to us on loan, and I think 'I'm hitting that motherfucker' and all it is is you posing some superfluous wouldnthisbeniceeh?

You're a fucking hard-on reducer if ever there was one.

Yeah. Haven't been on in a long time. Good to see things haven't changed

Yeah, I admit the title did occur to me as possibly being a little cruel.

As for FM moaning... I always find it amusing how we can sit here talking about players, performances, tactics and what not all day but as soon as the topic of transfers come up (usually when the subject is a foreign player) people start whinging about FM. Everything we do here is FM basically.

Whilst the idea of loaning him may not be realistic I was a little intrigued to see what people think of him given that he's kinda gone the way of Torres. Only Athens really briefly alluded to it though. This guy was an absolute superstar a couple years ago and now he barely gets a mention.

I guess no-one is interested though!

C'mon, Ryan, you're being harsh on ken.

He's good people.

AC Milan's Kaka 'asks not to be paid' while injured
AC Milan midfielder Kaka has asked to go without pay as he recovers from a thigh injury picked up in his first game since rejoining the Italian side.
The Brazil international, 31, was substituted in the 70th minute of the Rossoneri's 2-2 draw at Torino.
He returned to Milan on a free earlier this month after leaving for Real Madrid for a world-record £56m in 2009.
"I don't want anything from Milan, except for love and support, until I'm fully fit and ready to play," he said.
"For this reason I have decided to suspend my current pay for this period of time. The only thing I ask is for the support and help to recover properly.
"It is a difficult moment but I have started to work on getting better and I hope to get back as quickly as possible."
Kaka added he had spoken "at length" with Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani and club doctors before deciding to ask not to be paid.
It is not clear whether Milan have accepted the player's offer.
Kaka, the 2007 World Player of the Year, made 268 appearances for Milan between 2003 and 2009, scoring 95 goals. He helped them win the Serie A title in 2004 and the 2007 Champions League.
In 2010, Milan defender Oguchi Onyewu agreed a new one-year deal for no salary after he had spent a year on the sidelines.
In 2004-05, Roma and Italy midfielder Damiano Tommasi played for £1,200 a month while recovering from a serious knee injury.
