Kolo's giving us the leadership we need at the back.
Really? Think he's been very good. Hassled and got a foot in regularly.
The foots generally gone through the player first though
Yep we need another goal.
That is what a reasonable person would think. But some have their agendas and can't look at a game objectively.
He's typically frustrating though Wiz. Their player was in their own half, running down the line back towards his own goal and he brings him down pointlessly, then he gives away a freekick in a dangerous area on the edge of our box (his forte it seems), then he runs into their player needlessly. For all of his sitting in there and putting his foot in, there's always the other side of his game which constantly runs the risk of a yellow and a decision we get punished by. I wanted him back in the team after the Madrid game to give us some stability, Toure too, but tonight just reminds me why they are as frustrating as the rest.
I'd love to see a win today not just for the CL but to inspire some confidence in the league, but we just look awful.
We're still trying to play this aimless possession game despite the fact that we're not very good at it, repeatedly get punished by it and very rarely get rewarded for it.
I guess you just have to take it one game at a time and if nothing else, at least we've scored a couple goals and are winning, which makes a nice change (though how long that will last who knows).
