I think Lukaku (& Courtois) leave Chelsea this summer ... If - as people are convinced - we are to lose suarez, he should be our #1 target to replace him. The guy is so good now, and he's not even near reaching his full potential.

Oddly a lot of the Everton supporters seemed pretty negative about the guy in the post-match (Liverpool) thread over on their forum. Probably a bad time to gauge opinions but many seemed to think he's been a bit out of sorts since tail end of last year.

As for us buying him, is that type of striker the right one for us?

I guess we'll have a real job on our hands trying to replace Suarez with a like for like player but with Sturridge in the side can we accommodate an out and out #9 without going 4-4-2 (which we're not geared up for)?

Sturridge has done enough to prove he can be the main man upfront if Suarez leaves. We'll just need to make sure we have a shit hot backup for him so we don't end up with another Torres/N'gog situation. And wingers, lots of shit hot wingers.
