Why is he sooooo unfit? Why are we wrapping him in cotton wool? Did he play during the summer, and I just completely blanked it out? Did he take a bad knock at the end of last season, that I don't remember?

I feel like this is mental - What am I missing here..?

Based on what Slot said at the end of last season, it feels like the injury he picked up at that time was troubling enough that they already knew he'd need a few months' recovery. I can't remember as well how he got injured though, and what injury that was.

Yes, he didn't train for 2 months after the season and missed the first few friendlies.
 
Even Gravvy during second half of the season didn’t loom great physically. I know number if mind he played was one possible issue but not totally convinced. Apart from Szbo, we do lack mids who can press and get about currently. Would have just swapped Endo and Bajetic for an option if they aren’t upto it, such a key misbalance.

I'm hoping that's because Gravy was tired moreso than because other teams found him out.
