Thoughts and then ratings:
- Ref was shite - for both teams. Pep will probably moan like the cunt he is, but there were a lot of strange calls.
- I know some will call it mad, but it felt like the 1st half strategy was 'soak up' the pressure. We'll give them 45 minutes to give it 110%, tire out and we'll get them in the 2nd half ... You could see in the 2nd half, they tired rather quickly and we started carving them up.
- Sterling is a fucking whopping thundercunt. Diving little cunt - good player mind you, and great defensive work on his part.
- Coutinho - enjoy watching us in the semis you little prick. Hope the back is 100%.
- Team really has the look and feel of a team - players like each other, work for each other and communicate brilliantly.
Ratings

Karius - 7 - Nothing to do on the goal, and I guess their 2nd 'goal' was his fault, but I thought overall, for the pressure cooker of a 1st half, he was mature and very vocal. Made the easy saves look easy.

TAA - 7 - not as dominant as last week, but with less protection. Played a solid game ... growing up this lad.

Lovren - 9 - MotM. Why can't we see this every game? Dominating performance ...

VvD - 6 - He looked a bit in awe in the 1st half ... that goal pissed him off. He was really good in the 2nd half though sometimes he seems a bit
too calm. Card was a joke.

Robinson - 7 - solid solid performance.

Milner - 7.5 - Bossed the midfield, whether we were under the cosh in the 1st half or on the ascendancy in the 2nd half.

Ox - 7 - Really impressed with him today - he put in a fucking shift defensively (including a great block). Much better in the 2nd half

Gini - 7 - Ghostish in the 1st half, everywhere in the 2nd half.

Salah - 7 - wasteful but such an important goal. He just scores ... for fun. 39 goals. Amazing.

Mane - 7 - really mature performance from him. Two very rash tackles in the beginning ,and he's on a card and played smart footy.

Firmino - 9 - I'm giving him an extra point for that lung bursting track back to get the ball of De Bruyne. NO other striker in football does that, and instead of a counter attack and potentially being down 2-0, we attack and within minutes, 1-1. Such a team player, and what a goal.
