Managerial merry-go-round

Have to agree...gutted that they will appoint him. He was in charge of Sevilla when they did us in the final right ?
Yes. He won it three straight years. And used to manage Valencia and punched way above his weight

Hes won 10 trophies in 5 years.
Arsenal have a very good manager in place.
Different kind of job than he has ever had before though. He wasnt expected to win titles in Spain so he did the next best thing. In Paris he had no one to compete with.

In England he has to fight against 5 equally strong sides and is expected to fight for titles

Poor Arteta. Heavily linked with Arsenal and will probably end up at Everton. The blues will have another lot of Arteta money to cry about.

He had trouble managing the squad at PSG, had trouble communicating in French and was appaz pressured by senior players into playing 4-3-3.
Doesnt speak much English so it will be interesting to see how he approaches that.

Good manager though and apparently a very classy man. Spent loads of his last press conference praising Tuchel.

I think we need to applaud and recognise West Ham's determination to drive diversity and change in their managerial selections, and ensure that there is equal opportunities for the Undead to manage their team.

Ha ha. I'm surprised Grant didn't beg to stay there, with all that platinum card porn and VIP massage parlours available at the owners' behest. Pellegrini promises to bring a real sense of excitement to the club. An ideal man to engage with Hammers fans.

West Ham next season is going to be like a super-extended, director's cut of "Weekend At Bernies" with The Dildo Brothers jerking strings to make it look like Pellegrini is gesticulating about tactics from his disconcertingly sepulchral dug-out.

Pellegrini will at least have them playing a bit more exciting football, but its hard to see him staying in that job for more than 12-18 months.

It is a good move for West Ham. Better move than moving to a Stadium were all the old atmosphere is gone Down the drain.

I think I read somewhere that he gets an additional bonus if they finish in the Top 7, which seems quite optimistic. He's also now among the highest-paid managers in the country, which again seems a bit weird.

Unai Emery to Arsenal, Pellegrini at West Ham, Everton about to appoint Silva.....hopefully Chelsea's new manager will be equally underwhelming - and all of the aforementioned have pretty big jobs on their hands - leaving all the rest of the possible "big hitters" like Allegri, Enrique and Simeone where they are.

Dick is a really good manager
