How do you stop them this season? They're just fantastic, both of them. It's only us and Chelsea who can stand in the way of either of them. If someone doesn't beat City soon, they'll run away with the league. A loss will really rock them though, and I don't know why, call it bias, I think we're capable of beating City, United however...

City and United have the league this season, it's up to us and Chelsea to try and stop them. I don't think we can though. Assuming we get in the top four this season, which I believe will we, we're going to need a world class player or two to break City and United. Tough times ahead.

We'll stop them but its gonna take some effort. We don't know the potential of our team yet and we're doing it all without Captain Fantastic!

Eventually Cleverley, Smalling, Jones etc will retire and then they will struggle......

Haha. twats.

Cunts is more appropriate.

I cannot wait until we play them now, because I can see it being an amazing game, and us beating them, Suarez will be fantastic, an absolute monster. However at the moment it's very much Manchester and the rest. It's up to us and Chelsea to match them.

Yeah they are both looking great at the moment. If I remember correctly this time last year everyone was singing Chelsea's praises as they demolished any team put in front of them...

The real test comes when they hit a poor run of form...

hahaha.

I meant the song Kule, in case you missed it.

Your post was fine.

Any yet the last time both teams faced us, they suffered defeats with three goals. We needn't fear them, they should fear us.

We simply have to continue winning games and playing well, then take 4 points off each of them when we face them.

Of course we can beat the twats.

We'll beat them. They do look good I admit but we're not as shit as Arsenal.
Let's see them try that at Anfield.

We have improved with every match and have the most new first team members of all the top teams. We're getting better and the lads more confident. Kenny will be quietly working his magic behind the scenes. Stoke away is going to be a test of grit and courage.

The lads look hungry and long may our winning run continue.

Pfftt..

Spurs had a feeble midfield of a half-hearted Modric and Krandjar (sp?).
Arse had a couple of boys still in puberty.

We have the mighty Lucas.

Those mancs won't even know what'll hit them.

Its a while until we play them so I shall reserve judgement for now.

We have started well but we haven't really been tested yet. Our 2 last games were against teams playing poorly, and in each one we still had moments of uncertainty, so we are clearly not the finished article just yet.

If we continue to improve and go into the games full of confidence I'm sure we can give them a game but we shall see.

Merson made the point on Sky that you could pick almost any first division side and they would have shown more fight and made it harder than Arsenal did today.
I know they are missing a few players (some of that their own fault it has to be said) but i think their problems are far worse than i thought. There is zero fucking heart in that side. I didnt see ONE player who looked like they gave a shit. In fact Theo (half arsed) Walcott was their most rabble rousing.

They need MAJOR investment between now and Wednesday night. Not a band aid. Surgery.

LB
CB x 2
DM
CM x 1
CF x 1
LM x 1

They will probably sign Cahill and Scott Parker.
Not nearly enough.

Man Utd: De Gea, Smalling, Jones, Evans, Evra, Nani, Cleverley, Anderson, Young, Rooney, Welbeck. Subs: Lindegaard, Ferdinand, Berbatov, Giggs, Park, Hernandez, Fabio Da Silva.

I must admit that before the game when i saw that lineup i thought to myself that i wouldn't mind facing that team at all . I don't know , maybe they are shit hot but i still think that a good proper team could really test them . I'd really fancy our chances against that team , especially at home .

I mean are they really that amazing ? are they really better than teams of yrs past ? Personally I think the prem has dropped in quality a fair bit and they are being made to look better than they really are.

I don't think they are as good as Arsenal made them look, and the same can be said of Spurs performance against City today. I think we can quite easily hold our own against the two Manchester teams - we are evenly matched against them. Don't forget that once we get our Captain and Magic back in the side there will be more to come from our team in terms of dominating the game and more pace. We looked really good yesterday against a team we usually struggle against but I still think we need an out and out striker in our team - I wish we could for the short term just sign Forlan if he is available.

On the plus side Fergie was looking 'very' senile in the interview. Slurring even more than usual. Im just waiting for the day he says 'I thought Eric was fantastic today....'

I do not have a clue why but all that pace and youth on show at United.... i just dont see them kids as being as good as Schole et al when they came through.... I reckon we can do em...

City worry me though... if they gel...

Chelsea still dont have the right balance IMO but.... plenty of quality and experience of winning.

I think its gonna be a cracking season.
