These internationals are working out well for us. Relatively unstructured thoughts below - but no one really getting over played when in need of a rest, and those who could do with some rest are getting it (Mac & Endo).

Kelleher - gaining confidence with clean sheet and MOTM for his country
Bradley - starting for his country
Mac Allister - only did 15 mins in first game
Szobo - goal
Elliot - goals for U21
Gakpo - assists for Netherlands
Endo - on his way back, nice rest
Salah - resting at home
Nunez - only one game this break, so nice rest

Nunez stayed at Merseyside I think. Resting for the entire international break.

This is great. So Salah & Nunez will be fresh, Endo relatively so, Macca relatively so. Let's see how many minutes Szobo & Diaz play but both have high ceilings for stamina. I think Szobo getting 90s under his belt is very important for us too anyway.

And our injured players are now so much closer to their full return.

Konate is set to play in the next France game and thats probably a good thing for his match fitness. Just hope they manage his minutes.

Good thing there isn’t thread already about great the this Int break has been for our players so far…

Southgate’s record against decent opposition is shite, I can’t remember a decent win apart from against Germany 3yrs ago.
