The standard of teams that participated in that are now mostly in Europa league or higher.

The new CL bloat has meant that the Europa league is a worse standard than ever before, and below that is just nothingness.

People used the intertoto cup as a slur, this tournament is worse, so I think crowing about it is insane. The reason Chelsea can say they've won "them all" is because they're the only team with any success that has stumbled enough to end up in the recently invented competition.
