Got his tail up again after a couple of good results and he's going all cocky smug again.

The Magpies boss admits the club looked at Graham as an alternative to Remy, who signed for the Black Cats from Swansea for £5 million on Thursday, only to decide he was not for them.

“When we lost out on Remy it was pretty evident we weren’t going to get a big striker,” Pardew told the Journal. “They are pretty difficult to get over the line. Maybe Danny Graham but I don’t think he is in that level. I think that is something we will look at in the summer.”

I've no opinion about Graham, but I thought that was pretty low class by Pardew. Hope Graham puts a couple in and knock him down a level or two when their teams meet again.
