Mo Salah 2025/26 Season

1988.jpg

You argued with me back then and said you couldn't see it ending like this.

You are right that they aren't in exactly the same situation, but that wasn't my point.

Things often end badly. That's why they end. We need stop this whole thing and soon, so I think we know what will happen, which is what both parties now want, but without all this unseemly stuff. The problem is money is involved.
When did I say it couldn't end like this? It was always a possibility. Keane, Ronaldo and Messi ended like this. It's not unique to know how long to stay at the top.
I said before, perfect time to leave would have been last season (since you know my previous posts well! ), you should know by now I wasn't against the club not renewing last season as leaving with the league with POTY is probably good as it gets.

In my view I have shown objectivity, you have chosen to ignore it. You constantly badge people who disgree with you with various names. Tell me? Where did I make it personally about you before your proceeding post? Happy to understand your view but show me where I made it about you?
I honestly saw the length of your post and stop reading at that point.
Again, I didn't make it personal to / about you, so I don't understand your point... In my view, you generally don't show objectivity when you discuss Salah, and THAT'S what I respond to, NOT you, personally. But, I can't make you understand that, if you're not prepared to.

I think we both know where we stand on this by now... I've offered a sincere apology if I've personally insulted you - I honestly don't remember doing it, if I did. Your refusal to read my entire post says a lot. And that's ok... Life goes on. I'm getting too old to worry about internet squabbles anymore - So, here's to LFC turning things around a.s.a.p., and I hope you and yours have a happy whatever holiday you celebrate in the coming weeks.

No need for a apology, we are all fans. I just wasn't sure where it came from and I'm getting old so can't always for sure say I didn't say anything.... Happy Christmas to you too. Hopefully more things to agree in the future,

Hahaha, Whaddapie didn't even say anything insulting. The best I could find was a general comment about weirdos.

Also, can i watch that baby throw up on a loop instead of this match today?

Aye reigning player of the year that shits the bed in finals, no show against Newcastle, no show in both games in our CL QF. Since April in the league, 6 goals 4 assists in 28 games. Total shithouse, & as soon as he's dropped has the nerve to speak out disgracefully? Fuck that.

& the reason rival fans give him more "respect" is because they take his side and cheering him on when he's bad mouthing and venting against the club, something you no doubt get off on.
Are you really taking the high ground on mouthing off about the club. lol.

None of what you say removes the fact us the reigning player of the year and drove us to the title.

So yet again you are talking rubbish when you say he’s been shite for 3 years.
He’s actually been outstanding for 8 years and this year has been poor.

This popped up on my news feed ... I feel it's pretty much why most of us can't accept Mo's rant, whether he's justified or not.

Thierry Henry on Mohamed Salah's comments:
"I had problems with Wenger, with Guardiola… Have you ever heard me talk about it publicly? NEVER. I protected the club."
"When you play for a club, you must protect it at all costs. No matter what’s happening internally, you protect the club — your teammates, the manager, the staff."
"You can be angry, frustrated, disagree… but you don’t air dirty laundry in public, especially when the club is going through difficult moments."
"Instead, you wait, you sort things out internally, and then, if you want to leave or speak your mind, you do it at the right time."
"I understand the ego and Mo’s frustration... He scores 38 goals and ends up on the bench, but there comes a point where you must put the team before yourself.”

The clubs burning and he decided to pour petrol on

What's he's done is irredeemable, and reasons why are irrelevant

There's no valid reason
Funny how both our current manager, previous manager and all the current players who have commented have said it was not only redeemable but most have said they hope it happens.

You can do that if you want. I just don't think this is Macbeth. I don't think there's a lot of interesting psychodrama going on here.

He's a superstar who can't run as fast anymore. That's mostly what is going on.

I'm not surprised in the least that this has happened. It is exactly what I expected would happen and why I didn't want to keep him.
If we sold him when you wanted us to we most likely wouldn’t have 20 league titles now. Keeping him was absolutely the right move.

People had this attitude before Gerrard went, and then we went on our greatest period of success this century.

Players leave. based on his performances this year, mentally salahs already left.
lol only because we got arguably the best manager of this generation in. If that’s the premise then I either hope Slot proves just about everyone in here wrong or we find the next Klopp.

Salah would also need to apologise, which we all know he won't. I personally would like that but know its not happening.

He can't stay whilst he maintains his stance of i demand to be picked regardless of form or I'll start crying, kicking and screaming. Slot or whomever is next can't work effectively in that situation, so he has to go.

The saddest part for me is our own fans clearly fucking hating one of best ever players.

When you look at how the likes of Giggs the brother shagging prick or Terry the racist cunt behalf and are lauded by their fans I fucking despair that so many fans almost take as much joy in the downfall of one of greats.

It’s got some parallels with Ronaldo leaving Utd the second time yet their fans were such cunts about it.

There's literally no one delighting in this whatsoever. You are entrenching yourself further and further.

We're all dismayed to see how it's unfolding.

Its okay to disagree with the way Salah has acted towards the club and his teammates and still feel he is one of the best and most influential players to have played for the club. One doesn't exclude the other.

His actions were so disappointing, and in the end I think this squad will move forward in a better place both on and off the pitch without him.
