Jose Mourinho claims Luis Suarez is not worthy of his two Player of the Year awards.

Liverpool striker Suarez will collect the Footballer of the Year award at the Football Writers’ gala dinner this Thursday night, having been crowned PFA Player of the Yeartwo weeks ago.

The Chelsea boss says his Player of the Year would be Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko.

“He’s not just a goalscorer. He assists, he plays, he behaves, he’s fair, he doesn’t dive, doesn’t try to put opponents in the stands with accumulation of cards. I’d choose Dzeko,” he said.

Mourinho also claimed the footballer of the year should come from the champions.

If Brendan Rodgers' Reds win the title on Sunday, Jose would hail Steven Gerrard as his man of the season rather thanUruguayan ace Suarez.

Mourinho added: “My player of the year would be always from the champions so if that is Manchester City, I would choose Dzeko.

Jose Mourinho has vowed to save Roman Abramovich another huge compensation bill by quitting if his Chelsea return is a failure.
Chelsea owner Abramovich had to pay the Special One and his backroom staff £18million, when he sacked them in 2007.
Mourinho has promised he will walk away this time – but only if he fails to land more trophies.
The Portuguese boss won two Premier League titles, one FA Cup and two League Cups during his first spell as the west Londoners' boss and wants more of the same this time around.

i still can't work mourinho out . Who's he fighting ? It's like he has a massive chip on his shoulder so rather than enjoy his success and football , he is just trying to prove people wrong . Who i don't know . I always thought this came from the fact he had little success as a player so was driven now ..but i'm not sure , he just seems to be a cunt of a man and very bitter .

If it doesn't work at chelsea than i wonder where he'll go . PSG or back to inter i guess but it wouldn't surprise me if nobody decent is interested in him in 4 or 5 yrs.

He's fighting himself. He's trying to outdo himself last week by spouting more attention-seeking crap, and next week, he'll try to outshine himself this week. He's condemned to forever chase his own tail.
