So Pesam, is he any good?

LIVERPOOL IN FOR REDMOND
Brendan Rodgers wants forward reinforcements in January, but if we were Liverpool fans we might want someone with a little more experience and perhaps goalscoring threat than Nathan Redmond.

Still, the Birmingham winger is clearly a talent, and The Daily Telegraph reports that Liverpool are keen on bringing him to Anfield in the summer.

They are apparently going to take advantage of Redmond's contract shenozzle at St Andrew's, for the 18-year-old has stopped talks over a new deal.

Manchester City and Spurs are also watching. Not in a creepy way. Probably.

I haven't seen anything yet that would lead me to believe he's destined for an international career. For what he'd cost us we'd be much better off adding £5m to the price and getting Zaha who is gonna be HUGE.

I would be shocked if zaha went for 5m.

Its probably about what he should be but i think 10+ is more likely.

Dont think thats what Pesam was saying. He said we wound be better adding £5M to Redmond's price to get Zaha.

I saw figures being quoted yesterday of £20M for Zaha

Yup that's what I meant, if Redmond is expected to fetch £6m-£7m and if we could get Zaha for £12m we'd be much better off IMO paying extra for Zaha.

I haven't seen the rumour of a £20m fee for Zaha, that would probably rule us out of the running for him BUT I genuinely think he's the best young "British" talent since Rooney.
