Mauricio Pochettino didn't win a trophy with Spurs. Neither did Jose Mourinho. Nor Antonio Conte. But Ange Postecoglou has.
In all seriousness Ange has always been impressive since I’ve come to known him in Australia so I always felt he would have success when he went to Celtic and thought he could give Spurs belief.
Ironic he won a trophy by parking the bus in the second leg of the semi and in the final.
Absolutely dream season even if Chelsea win.

I don’t think you can underestimate what a trophy will for the fans in terms of giving him time. If the FA Cup got ETH more time, surely this will for Ange. There is no way they should be 17th but they did have insane injuries. Ange should have parked the bus in the league during that period.

Couldn’t give a toss. That’s on the club not him. He’s done with some of the best managers of the last 20 years couldn’t, under extreme pressure, with a mountain of injuries, criticism and the feeling of it all coming crashing down. He bet the house on winning this trophy a few months ago and would have been the laughing stock of world football if they lost and he got booted. But football is all about winning and he’ll be forever remembered as one and the one that ended the Spursy tag. They’ll sing his name long after he’s dead.

The competition is a joke now that there’s no champions league drop ins after the league phase. They beat Bodo fucking Glimt in the semis and the worst Utd side in recent history in the final.

None of this changes anything I posted.
The bitterness among anyone not an Arsenal fan is Everton levels of laughable.
The man deserves incredible respect and saying anything else says more about you than him or me for that matter.
The final made my eyes bleed employing Mourinho-esque anti football against an absolutely terrible opponent in a sub standard competition.
…and he’s led a club with a consistent top 6 net spend to its worst league position in decades losing 21 out of 37 (not 17 as I stated earlier) games along the way to 17th place.
21 league losses out of 37 for fucks sake.
Every Spurs fan I know wants him gone yesterday…and tonight doesn’t change that at all…it’s a devalued Europa league final against a shit Utd, after a magnificent semi win against Bodo Glimt. They’ll have fun tonight but can’t stand the thought of another season of naive losses flirting with relegation.
