My my the Udinese manager looks like a harsh man. Think I'd be scared to work for him.
This is great to watch. Really enjoying watching these players play. Coates looking good at the back.
Assaidi seems to have a touch of the Aidan McGeadys about him.
I wonder how many corners Downing has won in his career. I bet it's over a million.
Downings not only doing well, he's dropping centrally & looking comfortable as well as doing more than one move with the ball.

Goals from midfield, can dictate the tempo of a game, and can take it by the scruff of the neck. Not the same type of player, but similar role imo.
Pretty much.
He's been reading the game well, passing it beautifully from the back. Not really walking the ball out of the defence though. Rather, the back four and midfield and are playing quite far away from each other, and still passing it superbly. Really tiring Udinese up front. They're having to work hard to win the ball back.
That if you ever leave Liverpool its a step down. Was talkin about downing and saying he needs to give his all while he's here or he'll regret it
Seems as if there's two Udinese players on him as soon as he gets the ball. I think he's done ok, but I expect more.
Good game so far... assaidi must threathen the box even more when they build up on the opposit side.
