Houston Texans @ Pittsburgh Steelers

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Tennessee Titans

New York Jets @ Miami Dolphins

Seattle Seahawks @ Buffalo Bills

St. Louis Rams @ Philadelphia Eagles

Carolina Panthers @ San Diego Chargers

Arizona Cardinals @ San Francisco 49ers

Good old Lions. One quarter in against the might of the Falcons and they're 21-0 down. Fucking hell, I don't know why I bother.

Re: NFL Week 1

Just seen that. Good job they're playing the Chiefs. I don't think the Pats will be that great this year anyway. 10-6 maybe.

Re: NFL Week 1

Other highlights so far:

Steel Curtain up 28-3 on Texans

The dark horse, according to ESPN, the Eagles - are up 21-0 against the Rams with McNabb having a great great day already.

Favre with 2 TDs passes already - Jets up 13-7

For SG67, Atlanta up 24-14

Did anyone bother to register a fantasy team?
[/quote]

Last year it was shite b/c people quit on it mid-season. So I didn't bother this year.

I probably won't be posting in here again anyway...

1 game mate ... remember, in 93/94 (I think), the Cowboys started 0-2 and won the Super Bowl ...

Impressive start from the Cowboys. Romo, Barber, Owens et al pick up where they left off last year.......Playoffs aside obv.

how did the skins get on against the giants? completely missed all the build up for this season as the aussies arent too keen on football american style!and what are the chances of making the playoffs this year?wish i had sky sports :'(

yup, nice cameo from the rook (felix jones 9 carries, 60+ yards) too.

Playoffs aside? I wish it was that - we were shite for the last 4 regular season games too ... Hopefully we can actually do the job the whole season this year.

Out for the season.

Bugger.

It's between San Diego and Pittsburg now, my friends.

Bugger.

And the winner of that SHOULD be playing Dallas in Tampa.

Bugger.

Let's go Red Sox!

Steelers?
You think?
Id be delighted with that.
I fancy the winner to come from Dallas, San Diego or maybe even Jacksonville last night not withstanding.

Shame for Tom, but then i loathe him, so good for me.

i know brady is the best winner since Aikman 🙂)) but one player should not make a team - sure, you guys can be beat now but the team will rally around Cassel (or Simms) and I can see a 11-5, 10-6 season ... You guys are by NO means out of the race to represent the AFC against the NY Giants in tampa.

Agreed.

I still think that we'll win that division, but we'll (probably) not get past San Diego, Indy, Pittsburg or even Jacksonville in the playoffs without Troy 2 behind center.
