With no left back signing on the horizon will we play Johnson/Aurelio (well, for his two fit games) and even Insua (did he get many games on loan?) until January then offer a pittance for Enrique?

No, not from my mate anyway. One lad who gets info reckons we're sitting back & biding our time over the cb & Lb so may be left till later in the window. Partly to increase pressure on everton to sell baines & partly to encourage Brum to play ball over dann. Whether he's right or not I dunno.

Interesting, Dann rejected Stoke apparently so maybe he's holding out for us as much as we're holding out for him.

Think the Baines one is a bit far fetched but what a signing he'd be.
 
We definitely could do with a LB, but it will mean less game time for Kelly, Flanagan and Robinson, which is a pity.

We should look to get these players on the pitch whenever we can.
 
Are Sissokho, Izaguirre or Enrique any better than Flannagan or Robinson?

In Aurelio, Insua and the two youngsters (along with Johnson with Kelly at LB) do we really need a LB.

This time last year i was desperate for one, but the two youngsters are looking very good, and we have (basically) five (six if you include Agger) players who can play there. Do we need to sign a Seventh?

Has Flanagan ever played left back?
Aurelio is always broken.
Insua is shite
Robinson looks good but has only played a handful of games.

If we could get a really top notch left back then yes I'd go for it

Yes Flanno played left back in the friendly today and I think he also played left back when Johnson came back from injury. Might be wrong.

Yes we do need another left fullback.Only Johnson and Aurelio are at the level of Enrique, Baines and Cissokho. Whats the rush with Robinson? He's seventeen...
It's like a bad Disney movie. We cant start a season with him as back up for Aurelio.

I'd prefer we paid more for him to be honest. I mean, in a summer of overpaying for "premiership proven players" why fucking stop at 10M? Let's double it up.

They think Young is twice the player Downing is.
I think Young is better and he's also a year or two younger so they did get the better deal to be honest.
 
Downing will be 27, Young will be 26.
They paid 17 mill with 1 year left on his contract, and we paid the same and Downingbhas 2 years left on his contract.

How in sweet baby Moses name have they gotten the better deal?

He shouldn't play there much but hopeless? I thought he did ok there considering it isn't his position.
