Yeah, he does. There's an inverse effect to this too, if the kids fail & results go against until January, or some of them can't step up, he's highlighted the lack of squad depth & need for investment in first team & at youth level as well as having an excuse for results.

If they succeed, he's highlighted his system can work with new players & the academy is working & can justify asking for money to build on it & show what he can do with better players to start.

All whilst reducing the wage bill.

Long term it should be a win win & I think he knows that all too well, despite taking a helluva gamble doing it due to the slim chance are league position is so low it makes his job untenable.

Suso deserves this, a front line of Suso, Suarez and Sterling is going to be fucking brilliant. I'm loving the lack of Enrique too, Wisdom is another player who deserves this start, if this is indeed the team.
