Sunderland in terrible form - and losing 2-0 to Norwich in the first half hour

I can't believe players would ever tire of a wee man in glasses jumping up and down on the touchline.

I don't like Sunderland and I don't like Martin O'Neill so i'm quite enjoying this.

Remember all those idiots who said he would be a good manager for Liverpool? Deary me.

That's what I was thinking while I was watching Norwich v Sunderland (in the parts when I wasn't asleep). O'Neill used to have the reputation of being an almost superhuman motivator of men. Now, as Macca says, he just looks like a rather pathetic little chap on the touchline.

Someone used him as an example as to why we should have got him and not Kenny after the start he had last year ... Wish I had the patience to dig up that post!

Sunderland are right up there with spurs as a hated club.. but not as much as the scum, blueshite n chavs type like..

He looks like a paedo version of Martin McGuinness.

But he has had a pretty good track record prior to this job. I hear he has troubles at home. That's only ever money or sex and I can't think he'd struggle for cash.

I don't hate Chelsea though, it's just pity. Pity at those 'fans' pretending to sit there and cheer on their club each week when they have no real idea what it's like to be a proper supporter of a genuine club that isn't run by a Russian oligarch bellend with extremely dislocated knees.

They've got a horrendous fixture list in the coming weeks. They could be well in the shits when 2013 begins.

His wife has cancer I think.

Strange for anyone to dislike O'Neill.

He gives 100% all the time and is a very straight shooter. He's had massive personal issues with his wife. I'd like to see Sunderland recover under him.

And since when have an of the cuff cancer joke been 'out of line' on this site?

We'd have dedicated threads to it in the past.

Bloody hell

Come of Fabs; cancer isn't anything to joke about. I'd be surprised if anyone on this forum hasn't been impacted by it at some point. My uncle just died from cancer a few days ago. Coughing up thick, black blood for the last three hours. I can tell you there was nothing funny trying to mop it up at the time and there's nothing funny about it now.

Like I say, I'd imagine pretty much everyone on this forum has been impacted by it in some way; it's just something that's never funny.
